"Sufix Super 21" is made of dense high molecular nylon, also known as high viscosity nylon. This allows the line to be stretched without losing its properties and provides high strength, while the elasticity is very low - only 21%.
The production process, an advanced vulcanization process, creates long, strong molecular chains. This makes "Sufix Super 21" resistant to friction, impact and knots. During production, the line is repeatedly cooled to a very low temperature and then heated up again. This provides excellent elasticity.
The combination of high viscosity nylon thread and an advanced vulcanization process increases the average elasticity of Sufix Super 21 to only 21%. 40% lighter than other traditional nylon monofilament threads.
